Monk Americana is the quintessential New York City musician.  His catalog of songs and music range from blues to punk and all genres in between.  From hip hop to grunge he as played it, giving the audience a raw and dirty sound that is cleansing the air waves with his hauntingly soulful harmonies, melodies and lyrics.  Born into the Harlem Civil Rights movement of the 60's, coming of age in 70's and 80's New York City and active in the art and party culture of the Lower East Side from the mid-80's to the millennium.  Since then Monk Americana has performed coast to coast, from Connecticut to California, giving the audience his heart and soul
